General wrong perception of people about "Vedic Mathematics" in India.
Parents think that children would get confused by new methodology of "Vedic Mathametics" as it not taught in Schools from the basic level. Some feel that calculations can be speeded up using calculators and computers so there may not be a need of "Vedic Mathematics".
